Despite some technical difficulties last night and the fact that Ben is editing this episode from Brazil, neither snow nor rain nor humidity nor Fiyur could stop this podcast from getting to you. Adam, Jason, and Leanne are here to talk you through the metric crapton of MLS games that D.C. United has played and that D.C. United will play (and probably games that United is currently playing as you listen). But before any of that, we talk about the epic bombshells of news that have been dropping, starting with D.C. United's draw for the Concacaf Champions League. We also have to talk about the leak that D.C. United could be talking to Virginia about possibly building a stadium in Loudoun County or Woodbridge. Finally, of course, we have to talk about the FIFA corruption scandal that broke last Wednesday, the re-election of Sepp Blatter on Friday, and then the resignation of Sepp Blatter yesterday. We talk quickly about the loss to the Portland Timbers, which feels like a year ago now, as well as the victory against the Philadelphia Union over the weekend. Then we transition to the future and talk about tonight's game against the Chicago Fire and this weekend's game against Toronto FC. Finally, we end with our preview of the USWNT and the Women's World Cup, which kicks off this Saturday in Canada! This show is literally overflowing with soccer awesomeness, so give it a listen!
