D.C. United ended the 2018 MLS regular season in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, and we are here to talk about it. Jason, Adam, and Ben talk about United’s draw against the Chicago Fire and what a wild ride this entire season has been. We break down how there weren’t a lot of good chances for either attack, and heap some praise on D.C. United’s defense as off late. We discuss Ben Olsen’s tactics in this game, and what starters and substitutes we would like to see against the Columbus Crew. In the second segment, we bring on Patrick Guldan of Massive Report to talk about D.C. United’s midweek matchup against the Columbus Crew. We start, of course, with #savedthecrew, before moving onto Gregg Berhalter’s likely jump to the USMNT. We ask him about the Crew’s attack, including Gyasi Zardes and Justin Meram, as well as breaking down their defense. We ponder if Berhalter will throw a tactical curveball at D.C. United, and end with the future of the Crew, including whether they will be able to get Guillermo Barros Schelotto to come back and coach them. Give it a listen!
