A late-in-the-week edition of Filibuster is here, but we would never leave you completely hanging. Jason, Adam, and Ben are back, and Adam starts off the episode with a rant about a certain new team down in Atlanta. We then move onto happier things, talking about the USWNT's 5-2 victory over Japan to win the 2015 World Cup. We talk about the brilliance of Carli Lloyd, praise Jill Ellis, talk about how Morgan Brian adapted to the new USWNT system, and talk about the rest of the defense and specifically Becky Sauerbrunn. We then have to move onto D.C. United and their two losses to the Philadelphia Union and the Seattle Sounders. We talk about the differences between the two games, and the play of Fabian Espindola. Hint: we're not happy with him. We finish up our MLS talk by mentioning a new funding source: Targeted Allocation Money. The USMNT is next on the list, with their opening match against Honduras now in the books. We talk about the men's team overall, how the diamond didn't work in this game, Timmy Chandler versus Jonathan Bornstein, and we pine over Andy Najar. Finally, we end the podcast with a question from our Twitterbox. Give it a listen!
